St Thomas the Apostle, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus, reached India in AD 52. The Missionary Society of St Thomas the Apostle, (MST) is founded after the name of St Thomas and has its Head Quarters in Kerala.

The Society carries out its different apostolates all over the world and especially in India through registered societies

Nirmal Jyoti Educational And Charitable Society. It is a registered society. The members of this society are Catholic Priests belonging to the Missionary Society of St Thomas the Apostle (MST). It carries out various ministries in and around Madhya Pradesh, as Formal and Non - formal education, Special Education, Care for Street Children, Rehabilitation of Aids Patients, Divyang people / students, and Social Apostolate etc.

Formal education is one of the important missions of MST, with an aim to impart Value Based Quality Education for the formation of a Harmonious Society, by inculcating virtues of Human Dignity and Equality.
